I am a Chicago native and lifetime artist, but I've spent my fair time hopping from the west coast to the midwest and bouncing between science and art. After working as a laboratory technician at the Friday Harbor Labs, I went to graduate school at the CSU Monterey Bay Science Illustration Program. I love combining art and science to communicate the new ideas my clients are exploring. More recently, I've also gone back to my first love, writing, and authored two books for a high school-level audience.

To help me with my work I have two studio assistants, my cat Momo and my dog Owyn. When I'm not working, I'm reading books, teaching art to children, and hiking with Owyn.
